Information about the journal

The electronic Scientific Journal is included by the Higher attestation Commission (VAK) of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications, which should be published basic scientific results of the dissertation for scientific degree of candidate of Sciences, on competition of a scientific degree of the doctor of Sciences http://vak.ed.gov.ru/87.

Founder:
The journal was founded in 2005 by the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education "Tver State Agricultural Academy".

General Information:
The Electronic scientific journal "World of Linguistics and Communication" (MirLiС) publishes the results of scientific works at least four issues per year. Publications in it counted in the defense Ph.D. and doctoral theses in the general list of scientific papers.
The Electronic Scientific Journal is a network periodical scientific edition that has no print equivalent. The MirLiС is a monothematic scientific journal. The journal publishes research materials in all specialties of the scientists engaged in the field of theoretical, applied and cognitive linguistics, anthropolinguistics, psycholinguistics, linguapsychology, translation theory, theories of communication, logic, philosophy of language, intercultural communications, methods of teaching foreign languages, and Russian as a foreign language, literature and other areas of the humanities.
The Journal has a mass media registration certificate (certificate number FS 77-50391 E of June 29, 2012, registered  by Roskomnadzor) and is registered in the ISSN International Centre (ISSN 1999-8406).
The Electronic scientific journal is included (contract № 15-10108 on October 15, 2008) in Russian Science Citation Index, created by the Federal Agency of Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU (www.elibrary.ru).
Nowadays the journal is hosted on the server http://tverlingua.ru. Scientific publications are also posted in the Scientific Electronic Library (in the Russian Science Citation Index in the public domain, that allows to make them accessible to a broad range of Russian and foreign scientists and specialists.
The purpose of the Electronic Scientific Journal is a quickly and reliable information about research activities in all basic schools in its ongoing research and development. It’s to share experience in the field of teaching and the practical results of teaching and research training.
The purpose of the Electronic Scientific Journal is a rapid publication of the scientific articles about significant research findings and practical value of the results of their application.

Objectives of the Journal:
- Initiating discussions on topical issues of science and practice;
- Informing professionals and the public about the life of the international and national scientific community;
- Experience exchanging of teaching and research training,
- Extension of communicative space in interaction between Russian and foreign scientists.

5.9.6. Languages of peoples of foreign countries (indicating a specific language or group of languages) (philological sciences),
5.9.7. Classical, Byzantine and modern Greek philology (philological sciences),
5.9.8. Theoretical, applied and comparative linguistics (philological sciences),
5.9.9. Media Communication and Journalism (philological sciences),
5.9.9. Media Communication and Journalism (sociological sciences),
5.12.3. Interdisciplinary language studies (philological sciences).

Frequency of publication is  four issues per year.

The main language is Russian.

Submit papers are sent by the authors to the Editorial Board in a printed form and an electronic copy. The decision to publish an article is accepted by the members of the Editorial Board. The publications order in the journal provides for the mandatory review. At least one PhD in scientific degree should be a reviewer of the article.
Paper should be submitted by the authors in the established standard, which is published in each issue of the journal in a mandatory section: "Author".
