The article covers some of the common examples of emotional and emotionally evocative texts of communication practices. The article stresses the growing role of the new paradigm of modern linguistics - emotive linguoecology - in the study of the increasing aggressiveness of all kinds of human communicative activity.

CONCEPT OF LANGUAGE AS ENERGEIA IN W. VON HUMBOLDT’S AND L. WEISGERBER’S THEORY

One of the dominant ideas in the language philosophy of W. von Humboldt is that of language as «eternally repeating work of the spirit», as energeia rather than ergon, i.e. an ongoing active process rather than a finished product. The aim of this article is to show how L. Weisgerber developes Humboldt's notion of ergon and energeia emphasizing that language is to be studied, both as an activity (energeia) which implies a restructuring of reality to form a dynamic picture of the world (Weltbild), and as a static system (ergon) which contains a static picture of the world (Weltansicht).
