DISCREDITING THE OPPONENT ON HIS BEHALF IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE

  The article discusses ways to discredit the enemy on his behalf. The concept of discrediting is defined and its relationship with similar concepts (black PR, compromising material, destructive texts, dirty political technologies, information war). The article analyzes discursive ways of discrediting the enemy on his behalf (authorship attribution to an opponent of statements, texts; announcement on his behalf of shares defaming him and containing false information, etc.). Technologies that multiply the effectiveness of discrediting are described (cloning of Internet sites and newspapers, using of telephone and postal communications, methods of replicating and imposing information, including the harm to potential supporters, etc.). When the opponent is discredited on his behalf, the initiator / organizer of the discrediting disguises himself as a target. Discrediting is given for unsuccessful self-presentation of an opponent.

DRIFTING IDENTITY OF PARTICIPANTS IN DIGITAL COMMUNICATION

The article raises the problem of the identity of the speaker as an active participant in the converged network space of digital communications. The changes introduced by the digital paradigm to the system of new communicative relations in society manifest themselves in digital communicative practices, causative of the transformation of the foundations of the identity of the subjects, realizing their communicative roles of participants in digital interaction. It is shown that changes in the forms of behavior of a person speaking as a cognitive agent and participant in digital communication, as well as his reassessment of the functional-semantic (pragmatic) status of communicative practices used in digital interaction cause the appearance of new interactants` forms of “drifting” identity.

NEOLOGISMS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ERA (based on the material of the Russian and German languages)

Being a social phenomenon, language reflects all the changes taking place in the life of modern society, quickly responding to innovations related to social life. This article examines the neologisms of German and Russian languages, the appearance of which was initiated by the COVID-19 pandemic, and draws linguistic parallels. A review analysis of the constitutive features of neologisms is given. It is noted that in both languages there are almost identical units in structure, which indicates a certain linguistic community. In addition, the processes of globalization contribute to the mutual enrichment of the lexical stock of languages.

ETHNO-CULTURAL SPECIFICITY OF LANGUAGE CONSCIOUSNESS "CIVIL SERVANT” IN THE MATERIALS OF A FREE ASSOCIATIVE EXPERIMENT

The article examines the interpretation of the image of a “civil servant” in the linguistic consciousness of the Chinese and Russians on the basis of a free associative experiment conducted with native Chinese and Russian speakers in China and Russia in the tradition of the Moscow Psycholinguistic School. Using the method of semantic gestalt, Yu.N. Karaulov, 7 main semantic zones are identified, in which the content and structure of the associative gestalt of the stimulus word “civil servant” is described, the similarities and differences in the linguistic consciousness of both groups of subjects are revealed, and the ethnocultural peculiarities of the perception of the analyzed image are substantiated.

PHRASEOLOGY OF MODERN LINGUISTIC POETICS IN THE TAXONOMIC ASPECT

The article is devoted to the systematization of poetic phraseology in modern discourse. From a taxonomic position, a look at the general phraseological picture of the world is illuminated, against this background a number of stable linguistic structures functioning in a linguo-poetic environment are considered. In addition to the classification principles, interpretive approaches to Russian poetic intertext are proposed, attention is paid to linguopoetic research. As illustrations, various-structured phraseological units are given, included in poetic contexts, performing creative-cognitive and pragmatic functions in the text. Conclusions are made about the structural and semantic features of the units under consideration, as well as trends in the further development of phraseological teaching are outlined.

The article considers the features of the use of epithet and metaphor as an artistic and expressive means in the prose of the famous Austrian writer Arthur Schnitzler (1862-1931). The most frequently used types of epithets and metaphors in such genres as a short story and a novel have been established. Evaluative epithets have the maximum index of frequency in terms of use. Anthropomorphic and spatial metaphors are the most common in the works of the Austrian writer.
