DISCREDITING THE OPPONENT ON HIS BEHALF IN
POLITICAL DISCOURSE
ID: 0421200038\0065
Key words: discrediting, discrediting the
enemy on «his» behalf, self-presentation, self-discrediting, black PR
The article discusses ways to discredit the enemy on his behalf. The concept of
discrediting is defined and its relationship with similar concepts (black PR,
compromising material, destructive texts, dirty political technologies,
information war). The article analyzes discursive ways of discrediting the enemy
on his behalf (authorship attribution to an opponent of statements, texts;
announcement on his behalf of shares defaming him and containing false
information, etc.). Technologies that multiply the effectiveness of discrediting
are described (cloning of Internet sites and newspapers, using of telephone and
postal communications, methods of replicating and imposing information,
including the harm to potential supporters, etc.). When the opponent is
discredited on his behalf, the initiator / organizer of the discrediting
disguises himself as a target. Discrediting is given for unsuccessful
self-presentation of an opponent.

DRIFTING IDENTITY OF PARTICIPANTS IN DIGITAL COMMUNICATION
ID: 0421200038\0066
Key words: agent-like systems, digital
literacy, digital communication, drifting identity, combined reality, regulative
interaction, network identity, digitalizatio
The article
raises the problem of the identity of the speaker as an active participant in
the converged network space of digital communications. The changes introduced by
the digital paradigm to the system of new communicative relations in society
manifest themselves in digital communicative practices, causative of the
transformation of the foundations of the identity of the subjects, realizing
their communicative roles of participants in digital interaction. It is shown
that changes in the forms of behavior of a person speaking as a cognitive agent
and participant in digital communication, as well as his reassessment of the
functional-semantic (pragmatic) status of communicative practices used in
digital interaction cause the appearance of new interactants` forms of
“drifting” identity.
