The tutorial "Fundamentals of knowledge theory and argumentation. Summary of lectures for humanities. - Tver: Institute of Applied Linguistics and Communications of TSAA, 2011. – 136 p." was prepared by the famous scientist and linguist, PhD, Professor A.A. Romanov at the Chair of Language Theory and Intercultural Communication in the Tver State Agricultural Academy. The proposed book has been prepared in accordance with the program of the course of logic and argumentation theory, with specificity of the teaching of this discipline in humanitarian faculties, and it is intended for undergraduate and graduate students of the educational profile 031600.62 - Advertising and public relations. Particular attention is paid to the presentation of the main ideas of formal logic in their relationship, as well as the specifics of the relationship between language and thought. The tutorial is aimed to help students in studying of this course, improving culture of coordinated dialogue and developing critical thinking skills in the process of reasoning in the volume of training programs for state educational standards. The editorial board of "The World of Linguistics and Communication" thanks author for the opportunity to publish fragments of this scientific work.

The training manual "Romanov A.A., Morozova O.N., Romanova L.A. Glossary of orator’ terms. Guide to the training course. - Tver: Institute of Applied Linguistics and Communications of TSAA, TSU, 2011. – 106 p." was published at the Chair of Language Theory and Intercultural Communication, Tver State Agricultural Academy. The proposed training manual is intended for first year students of educational undergraduate and graduate programs in various departments of the universities that have courses "Russian language and culture of speech," "Fundamentals of Communication Theory", "Management Rhetoric", "Rhetoric and culture of speech", "Business Communication" in the amount of training programs for state educational standards. In addition, this manual may be useful as part of an additional training program "Translator in the sphere of professional communication."

p." was published at the Chair of Language Theory and Intercultural Communication, Tver State Agricultural Academy. The proposed training manual is intended for first year students of basic undergraduate and graduate programs in the profile (035 800) "Fundamental and Applied Linguistics" at the philological faculties of higher education institutions, it can be used in courses "General Linguistics", "Introduction to Linguistics" and also in the additional educational program "Translator in the sphere of professional communication".

The editorial board of "The World of Linguistics and Communication" thanks the authors for the opportunity to publish fragments of this scientific edition.

The training manual "O.N. Morozova, S.E. Noskova. Deutschland: Geschichte, politische Ordnung, Wirtschaft. - Tver “Agrosfera”. - 2008. – 178 p." was published at the Department of Theory of Language and Intercultural Communication in Tver State Agricultural Academy. The tutorial is a part of the author's complex of training materials, united by cross-cultural themes. It is intended for training of students with additional qualification "Translator in the sphere of professional communication" in the non- linguistic universities.

March 7, 2008 was approved a system of criteria for inclusion in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications issued in the Russian Federation by Supreme Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation. In this journals and publications must be published the main scientific theses` results on competition for doctor's and PhD’s degree. Electronic scientific journal “World of Linguistics and Communication” fully complies with the requirements to this list.

The multi-author book ““Quo vadis, Deutsch?” A conversation with students studying Modern German language” (authors A. Romanov, O. Morozova, S. Noskova) was gone out in the publishing house “AgrosferA”.

Electronic scientific journal “World of Linguistics and Communication” was involved in project “Russian list of journals indexed” initiated by the Federal Science and Innovation Agency. The journal is registered by Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU under this project. The Editorial Board regularly provides information about the published articles in the prescribed form to the Scientific Electronic Library. Articles, abstracts, keywords, information about the authors and references are hosted in the Library on open access. So this information is available for Russian and foreign scientists and specialists.

September 26, 2006 was a presentation of jubilee edition of scientific works of the famous scientist-linguist, the founder of the scientific school “Dynamic model of dialogue” dr., hab. A. Romanov “The linguistic mosaic: Favorites. – M.: IY RAN, TSAA, 2006. - 436 p.” in the linguistic theory and intercultural communication chair of Tver Institute of Applied Linguistics and Communications of TSAA. The Editorial Board will publish some text specimens from this jubilee edition in the nearest numbers of the journal.

September 23, 2005 was the meeting with dr., hab. A. Romanov and dr., hab. J. Sorokin in the linguistic theory and intercultural communication department of Tver Institute of applied linguistics and mass communications of TSAA. There are authors of such scientific edition as “Somatikon: Aspects of nonverbal semiotics”. - IY RAN, TGU, 2004. – 253 p. The book is devoted to the description of thereception, interpretation and research of somatografic space in visual communication.
