MIKHAIL ANDREEVICH TULOV: DIALOG THOUGHTS LANGUAGE AND THE INFLUENCE OF LOGICAL THINKING IN LANGUAGE. LANGUAGE AS A BODY OF INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT

The article analyses some linguistic views of M.A. Tulov. They are set forth in the work of «Review of the linguistic categories» (1861). Contribution of M.A. Tulov in linguistics is determined fragmentarily in connection with the problem of opposing psychological and logical concepts of the language. The author underlined the specificity of the logical and grammatical categories; the opinion that the language is a mirror of spiritual, creative power of the people; that is impossible to identify the universal logic of thinking and logic of the national language of thinking.
