TO THE QUESTION OF RESEARCH OF ENGLISH BORROWINNG ASSIMILATION IN GЕRMAN ADVERTISING DISCOURSE

The present study focuses on ways of assimilation of English borrowings used in advertising texts of German advertising. Objectives of the study were: to determine the methods and degree of assimilation of the lexical units of the English language characteristic of advertising discourse, to identify the role of English borrowings in the modern German advertising discourse, to consider the problem of borrowings in German language, to draw out their functions, to consider the functioning of borrowed lexical units and determine the necessity of their use in German advertising texts.

INVARIANT MODEL IN SPEECH ACT OF WARNING

This article analyzes language means of expression of meaning of warning in English, as well as it makes an attempt to construct invariant model of warning utterance in English.

The article is devoted to the general purpose of the study of the etymological composition and functional differentiation of the thematic group of Middle English names of poets, writers and translators. Middle English occupational terms are distributed into two classes – common nouns (in their nominating function) and proper names, especially family names (in the function of identification of the person as the component additional to the personal name in the personal nomination formula). Within each etymological group of vocabulary we distribute the lexical material according to the functional principle and distinguish three groups of occupational names). Data obtained in the study under review are valuable as the constituent part of the comprehensive study of the etymology and usage of the Middle English vocabulary.

The given article is devoted to the analysis of the nominative field of the concept "TERRORISM" in English. The nominative field is considered as a system of language means representing the essence of the concept. The lexeme terrorism, its usual and occasional synonyms, hyperonyms, vocabulary interpretations, derivatives and free collocations are analyzed on the basis of the lexicographic and newspaper articles.
