INTEGRATIVE DISCOURSIVE APPROACH TO THE PHENOMENON OF "POLITICAL RAP BATTLE"

  The article examines the phenomenon of "political rap battle" from the standpoint of the cognitive-discursive approach which contributes to the description of the mechanism of interaction and actualization of the complex system of interactive-illocutionary knowledge and personal attitudes of participants in eristic discourse in pre-election communication. The interdependent relationship of typical varieties of knowledge in individual areas of frame "communication methods" has been determined. The central place in this system is occupied by illocutionary knowledge which is in certain relations with other types of knowledge, aimed at reflecting the specifics of eristic discourse.

The aim of this work is to analyze the characteristics of their graphic adaptation in CMC. The modern attitude of Quebecans towards borrowings in CMC is manifested in their positive acceptance.

METHODOLOGICAL SUBSTANTIATION OF MEDIA COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES (10 paradigms of media in the digital age. Are the predictions coming true?)

In 2002, Jose Luis Orihuela published the article «The new paradigms of communication» («Los nuevos paradigmas de la comunicacion»), outlining some communication problems for traditional media that digitalization brings: «new relations with the audience (interactivity), new languages (multimedia), and new grammar (hypertext)» (Orihuela, 2002). Almost 20 years later, in September 2021, Jose Luis Orihuela (Professor of Multimedia Communication and New Media at the School of Communication, University of Navarra) published the book «Digital Cultures” («Culturas Digitales») which presents an updated version of the 2002 text. This article attempts to analyze the 2002 study, investigated from a prognostic value point of view, including in the Russian media practice of recent decades.

The authors conclude that modern mass media form ready-made interpretive structures in the form of spindoctoring patterns which not only set the boundaries and main thematic blocks of communicative practices but also direct the addressee to typical stereotyped models of their interpretation.
