This paper attempts to examine the interpretation of the source text as a
paraphrase in a given ethos. Interpretation can normalize the text within the
scope of its operation, and can output it in other existential sphere. And then
there is the problem of the dialogue of interpretations, sending the researcher
to the original understanding of the text.

ON THE QUESTION OF THE WORD-PLAYING ON THE DERIVATION
LEVEL IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE MODERN GERMAN YOUTH
(on the example of suffixation)

The article is devoted to the analysis of one of the interesting methods
of the word-playing on the level of word-formation in the language of the modern
German youth – suffixation. The model of the creation of the new words through
the using of the suffixes-parasites is indicating clearly important trend in the
youth language, which provides implement of the humorous, ironic and
expressive-emotional function. The author shows actualization of the comic
effect through the using of the suffixes, describes the specific function of the
analyzed lexical units and the way of the creation of this effect.

TRANSLATION FAILURE IN THE TRANSMISSION OF
HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL REALITIES

In the article the translation failures in the transmission of cultural
realities in the relevant texts in Polish and Russian culture - a poem "Pan
Tadeusz" and novel in verse "Eugene Onegin" - are discussed. Exploring of the
realities of everyday life of the XIX century and their reflection in the
translation shows, that the largest number of failures occur in the description
of the fields which are daily, but yet fundamentally different in both cultures.
While translating descriptions concerning the usual, ordinary walks of life the
translators neglect their additional study.
