The article
analyses history, names contradictive functions, causes of wide obscene
lexis expansion in the communicative space of the Russian linguoculture,
enumerates basic reasons of its popularity in all spheres of communication.
It traces ways and means of obscene lexis usage limitation in the past and
suggests new techniques for language and human health improvement. For the first
time obscenities are viewed from the position of the modern linguistics’
approach – emotive linguoecology. The fact of obscenities’
nonecologicalness both for human and language health is ascertained .

Representatives of the Tver linguistic school of the dynamic model of dialogue (scientific supervisor of the school is doctor of Philology, Professor, Honoured scientist of the Russian Federation A.A. Romanov) took part in the International scientific conference in memory of doctor of philological Sciences, Professor Stanislav Vladimirovich Semchenkova (1931-1999) "Service on the scientific heritage of Professor Stanislav Semchenkova and modern Philology" (19-20 may 2011), which was carried out on the basis of the chair of General linguistics and classical Philology at the Institute of Philology of Kiev national named after Taras Shevchenko University with the assistance of the Embassy of Romania, Ukraine (Kiev, Ukraine).
