We deal with the structure and semantic characteristics of a conflict discourse
that is why suggest to have a look at different aspects of it which are to
elicit a cognitive base of. Our analyses show that conflict interaction can
appear when the collision of speakers’ basic concepts takes place and the
cognitive dissonance, which has got universal character in any age groups of
speakers, can appear as a result of destruction of both cognitive limits for
organizing the discourse information and its pragmatic principles. The
possibility of the cognitive dissonance overcoming can be found if both speakers
are ready to sort out the conflict communicative situation.

THE USE OF CORPORA PARALLEL TEXTS AS A METHOD OF
TRANSLATION STUDIES FOR STUDENTS OF NON-LINGUISTIC SPECIALIZATION
ID: 0421200038\XXXX
Key words: translation comparative analysis,
corpus of texts, parallel texts, finite and non-finite forms, aspect, voice,
mood, cognitive operations, academic skills
The article looks upon the use of corpora parallel texts and states that such
practices may represent a highly effective way of teaching non-linguistic
students. The author states that translation is a stimulus for the development
of a language personality as it influences pragmatic, cognitive, professional,
utility, social, cultural and academic skills. The principle of comparison is
highly significant for selection of grammar phenomena in translation studies.
Functionality of these grammar phenomena is a fundamental issue for the quality
of translation practices. The verb as a predicate allows a native speaker to
express the changes and trends in the mental picture of the world perceived in
his own perspective. Thus, adequacy in translating verb forms helps the
translator understand the source language better. Corpus studies indicate that
in case of English-Russian translation finite forms with their categories of
voice, mood and aspect should be interpreted as functional units of speech.
Non-finite forms, namely the infinitive, the gerund and the participle, as well
as their complexes, are also seen as departing points between the two cultures.
An analysis of parallel texts is conducted and conclusions are made about how
adequate translations are and which translation techniques are used for each
particular grammar phenomenon. The article indicates that translation is not a
form of art, but a science as it requires knowledge of grammar rules and skills
typical for academic research. Translation practice coincides with the
principles of cognition, i.e. search for causes, comparisons, common and
additional properties. The translation practice is based on such cognitive
operations as analysis, contrast, synthesis, induction and deduction.

POSITION ANALYSIS METHOD AS A MEASUREMENT WAY OF A SPACE-TIME WITHIN THE TEXT
ID: 0421200038\XXXX
Key words: text, text structure, position
analysis, linguosynergy, metrorythmic matrix, proportion of golden ratio
The modern linguistics of the text is characterized by establishing of
cross-disciplinary relations with sciences of a natural-science cycle that has
led to emergence of the new direction of the text structure research – linguosynergy. linguosynergy is a young scientific branch considering structure
of the text as non-equilibrium steady condition of a system and the process
capable to move and be reconstructed in the environment. In modern conditions of
a language science development the keen interest is in multifaceted text
researches that is why the knowledge systematization of structural features of
this language reality is really up-to-date. An object of research is the text
and it is considered as result of the synergetic process found in its structure.
General-logical methods and techniques of a research, such as analysis,
induction, modeling, generalization and structurization of scientific
information are used in this work. The practical value of this work consists in
an application possibility of the main article conclusions while modeling the
texts differing in organized structure and hierarchy of certain semantic blocks.
The author comes to a conclusion that the structural organization of the text
differs in accurate hierarchy of strong and weak positions. "Measurement" of the
text structure has become possible thanks to a method of the position analysis
with the basis of golden ratio proportion. The superconstruct received as a
result of this method application allows to compare all texts irrespective of
their volume, genre and stylistic peculiarities, authorship and other
characteristics.
